At Chemnitz Theaters, students receive their tickets at particularly favorable conditions. With proof of student status, you save 50 percent on the seat price. You can buy tickets conveniently online or at the service offices of the Chemnitz Theaters.

Kulturticket Chemnitz – Chemnitz Culture Ticket

If you have a valid student ID card, since the winter semester 2016/17, you will be able to use it as an entry ticket for the Chemnitz theatres and local museums. These include

  • the Saxon Museum of Industry,
  • the Natural History Museum in Tietz,
  • the Chemnitz Art Collections on Theaterplatz,
  • the Gunzenhauser Museum,
  • the Schlossberg Museum and
  • the Henry van de Velde Museum at Villa Esche.

 

You can get free entry to the Opera House, Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra, Theatre, Ballet and Puppet Theatre if you are happy to take any unsold seat 15 minutes before the performance begins.
