Payment of the second heating cost subsidy

It is now clear that the second heating cost subsidy (HKZ II) of 345 euros will be paid out in Saxony on April 6, 2023.

All persons who received benefits under BAföG for at least one month in the period from September 2022 to December 2022 and who lived or live outside their parents' home are eligible. It is not necessary to submit an application. The grant is automatically paid to the account specified in the BAföG application for all eligible persons and is not counted as income against BAföG or other social benefit claims.
