Award for mensa55 for its vegan offer

PETA Germany evaluates the vegan offerings of German universities every year. In this year's canteen ranking, more canteens than before received 4 stars and the number of canteens with 3 stars in particular has risen enormously. PETA reports an increase in the selection of vegan dishes. The vegan offer generally goes beyond individual pasta dishes and students can look forward to great, creative dishes and a larger selection. 

The vegan range at mensa55 was also put under the microscope. The result: three out of five stars were awarded in the "most vegan-friendly canteen 2024" ranking!

And rightly so: the specially trained staff at mensa55 offer vegan main courses, starters, desserts and snacks every day. In addition to pasta dishes, there is a changing selection of wok dishes, for example, but dishes such as African peanut pot or fried tofu slices and churros have also been offered.
